Workshop Description
At least four licensed and experienced hams will lead this free two part class beginning with the basics of amateur radio, will guide hands-on experiences, and lead opportunities for questions and answers towards awareness of the many applications and community services of this hobby. Included also will be guidance and instruction specific to the application of FCC licensure. The second class will build upon the first as informed by the participants’ Q and A and interests, as well as include the opportunity to be tested for the first level of Licensure: Technician.
