Project Bike Tech

Workshop Description:
Project Bike Tech is designed to introduce individuals to the many career pathways within the vast bike industry as well as prepare them for entry-level positions as bike technicians with a concentration in career preparation and development in addition to technical and mechanical skill development, shop safety, proper use of tools and bike and tool vocabulary. While going through the curriculum, students are building brand new bikes as well as servicing used bikes to donate to the community. Upon course completion, students receive an industry recognized Master Bike Technician certificate listing the skills they’ve learned and a serviced bike for themselves!
